Help fund life-changing international school trip
Hi, we are a team of BSix College students in London. We have been working on a project over the past year to develop international development skills. We are raising money to travel to Uganda on a life-changing international exchange trip. As part of our international volunteering activity, we will help to build a new classroom for children who have limited access to education in a village in Uganda. We will also help to launch an aeroponics project to help the rural agricultural community diversify their livelihoods as they grapple with the ravages of climate change. Finally, we will engage in a seminar on agriculture, gender roles, and climate change and environmental issues. By the end of our international experience, we will not only have acquired strong employability skills but also cultural capital, global awareness skills, cross-cultural communication skills and a much greater sense of self-confidence. You can learn more about our plans and experiences about the Uganda Project and about how else you can get involved by visiting www.bsix.ac.uk/news/bsix-uganda-project/. We really appreciate you helping us to achieve our goal. Thank you! BSix Uganda Project Students
