Please help my Family find housing by May 31st.

Hi, we are the Davis family. We decided to do this after much meditation and prayer. In Aug ‘23, they found a large cyst growing on my ovary. What was supposed to have a quick and easy surgery, it ended up taking over 4 hours with the help of another surgeon, since it had attached to my colon and had dense scar tissue to unstable for hours to undue the damage mainly caused from a 10-lb cyst that was found when I was 15. (Thankfully, no cancer and it was an extremely rare circumstance).

After I was cleared from driving In Oct, I was driving home from dropping my Children off to their Grandmother’s, and plowed into the back of someone due to a medical emergency. It was a TIA and my car was totaled. My Mom had just returned from months of caring for my Grandmother who has been on the verge of death. Right after this she ended up getting in a wreck and totaling her car leaving them without any transportation, and no money to purchase a new used car. In early January my Stepdad had a massive stroke. He had been to the ER 3 times before they took him serious. We tried to help with expenses as much as possible, until my Husband lost his job unexpectedly on Jan 19th. He applied to hundred of jobs to no avail, and we’ve been in a long line trying to get SNAP and TANF. We were rejected from TANK. We were further set back when we received a phone call late Feb that one of my younger Cousins had passed unexpectedly from a major heart attack. In mid March we received another call that my other Cousin had passed in his sleep, most likely to the years of fighting Juvenile Diabetes. It’s been really rough working through that., especially my oldest. He’s having trouble accepting and that’s ok, we are working ontescginh what we believe in. He’s my ❤️

My Husband finally found a job last week and although it doesn’t pay what he was making, it is a job. However, even though our rent has been paid the Landlord sent a letter saying they had decided to sell the house and we needed to be out by Feb 29th. (We went directly to the landlord to ask), We Bartered and begged and they finally agreed to let us stay until May 31st to for my Son to complete his school year, along with all of his Speech and OT and do his State Testing. And yet here we are May 23rd, I’ve applied to several houses to no oval so now I’m going into freak out mood. I had such a bad anxiety attack I had a seizure brought on by all of this.

A few weeks ago we received a letter from the Realtor, along with spiteful comments saying we had to be out by April 30th. My Husband and by passed the company and show the letter stating we could stay longer. He agreed that if we pay bis rent right then and he would agree. With my Husband just starting his new job it is impossible to find another house that soon, and as we’ve found out he’s now taken a 2nd FT job, which won’t come until after are high and we need to pay the first month of rent, which with the current market would be around $2,500 for dep and $2,500 for rent. We’ve tried everything we can think of to no avail. It is now April 26th and we have 4 days to raise enough money for deposit and rent on a home. We tried to ask our Church for help for us due to the time crunch we are facing. They asked us to remove it from all of their SM, and haven’t even checked in on us. I’m very hurt, but not surprised at how this Church has acted. We would be very appreciative of any donations so that we don’t lose everything. Thank you for listening and those that help us. We will not forget and always strive to help others in difficult times. Thank you! ❤️ Until then we trust in the Lord with all our might!

And a big thanks to those who showed me that I should check my FB Messages.
