Donate to this Deserving Family: Give a Blessing!

I feel led to help an extremely deserving family that is going through a very difficult time and in need.

Sandy, 41, is the mother of 7 beautiful children, ages 6-20. I’ve been fortunate to grow close to Sandy and her family because my daughter plays soccer with her daughter Abby, and her son, Branden, is an excellent employee of ours at K9 Heeling. 

Through getting to know them, I learned of Sandy’s story of sickness and strength. Prior to the pandemic, Sandy was diagnosed with breast cancer and the following year diagnosed with a brain tumor. These were both treated through surgery. This year the doctors found another brain lesion where she underwent radiation. Just one month ago another lesion was discovered. She’s been seeking answers over the last month with no answers as to why her functioning has deteriorated - now needing a walker to get around and the loss of use of her left arm. 

Today, 11/18/22, the doctors informed her that she has cancer of her spine and she is awaiting a treatment plan. During all of this, her devoted husband has been so supportive. Her mother has been at home with the children. Sandy is one of the strongest people I know. She’s a fighter, not a victim. She did not ask for help, but she deserves it. Medical, travel and now medication expenses really add up. The family has rallied together, but with 7 kids having busy schedules, the family could use another vehicle. Our employee & her son-Branden, just turned 16, and can help with logistics for the younger children’s activities in town.

I’m raising money to help get the family an additional vehicle and any other monies donated will go to help cover medical expenses. If you are able please consider donating to this family.
