Over the past week, 8 neighborhood cats on Westbrook Drive were safely trapped and taken in to be spayed and neutered through a local TNR (Trap–Neuter–Return) group.
Every single one of these cats received:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• Vaccinations
• Full vet check-ups
One sweet boy is currently being cared for because he has an upper respiratory infection (URI). He’s on medication for 10 days and will be returned once he’s fully recovered.
Here’s what truly deserves recognition:
The TNR group covered everything.
They didn’t have to lend the traps.
They didn’t have to handle transportation.
They didn’t have to secure all the spay/neuter appointments.
They didn’t have to cover the full cost of surgeries and vet care.
They didn’t have to keep the cats overnight after surgery to monitor them and make sure they were safe.
But they did.
They stepped in without hesitation and helped our neighborhood in a way that was truly a blessing.
We would love to give back.
Our goal is to raise $500 to donate directly back to this TNR group so they can continue helping other outdoor and feral cats in surrounding neighborhoods.
Every single dollar raised will go directly to them.
We will make sure everything collected goes directly back to the TNR group. Once we reach our goal, I will send proof that all funds were donated to this group.
Spay and neuter prevents:
• Endless litters
• Fighting and spraying
• The spread of disease
• So much unnecessary suffering
If everyone contributes a little, we can easily reach this goal and help them keep doing this life-saving work.
Please consider donating or sharing. Even $5 helps.
Let’s show them Westbrook Drive appreciates what they did for us and the ferals.
