For the past five years, I’ve been caring for the community cats in West Phoenix, starting as a feeder and gradually becoming deeply involved in their well-being. Over time, I realized how important it is to prevent the cycle of overpopulation, so I began fixing female cats to stop the birth of more kittens. This work has become a true passion, and I’ve dedicated myself to feeding, caring for, and finding homes for friendly cats whenever possible.

Now, I’m focusing my efforts on the cats living at Westland Charter School in Phoenix, AZ. With the help of SASSY CATS TNR, we estimate there are over 20 cats on the school grounds who urgently need our help. The funds from this fundraiser will go directly toward TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) surgeries for each cat, gasoline for transportation, and essential trap supplies like cat food and tuna to safely and humanely catch them. This project is urgent because kittens can have babies at a very young age, and we want to break the cycle before it continues. Earlier this summer, I lost a few Siamese kittens who were trapped in hot storage sheds during a heatwave. Despite my efforts to save them, it was too late, and that heartbreak drives me to act now so no more lives are lost to preventable suffering.

As soon as we reach our fundraiser amount, SASSY CATS TNR and I will begin trapping at the school. I’ll keep all supporters updated with photos and stories of every cat and kitten we help, and I’ll be working to find rescues for any kittens we encounter. Your support will make a direct impact on the lives of these cats and help create a safer, healthier environment for them and the school community.
