Help TJ with bills and medical expenses

Hi! I’m Marcie and I’m starting a go fund me for a team member that had an unexpected illness and emergency in January.

TJ, Terry Jernigan, became sick, thinking it was the flu or Covid but he got so ill that he collapsed and his spleen was compromised. He has chronic liver cirrhosis that he’s had since childhood. After his spleen ruptured, he had to have a blood transfusion and life saving surgery and was placed on a ventilator to aid in his recovery. His chronic childhood liver condition caused additional complications which caused ascites (fluid in the abdomen) that made it necessary to go back under anesthesia to drain.

To add insult to injury, TJ was wearing contacts when he collapsed and they caused him to have an eye infection and severe eye ulceration and temporary blindness. He was hospitalized for 29 days and is finally home. He will be unable to go back to working a normal schedule for some time and will be dealing with the financial stress of cost from the hospitalization and regular household bills.
