Help TJ Taaffe with his 2025 racing

As many of you know, TJ recently lost his father, Niall Taaffe, a man who was well-known and loved in every paddock he entered. Niall’s presence in the karting and racing communities left a lasting impression, and his support for others was unwavering.

Losing a father at such a young age is incredibly difficult, and for TJ, the challenge is compounded by the loss of the opportunity to race, something he has always been passionate about. Racing is not just a hobby for TJ; it’s in his blood. Losing the chance to pursue it at this moment makes an already tough situation even harder.

Several of us in the karting community have been thinking about how we can support TJ during this time. We all agree that the best way we can help is by ensuring TJ can continue to race for as long as possible. The Taaffe family has enough to contend with right now, so it’s up to us, the Irish karting community, to step in and give back. Niall was always there to lend a hand to others over the years, now it’s our turn to show up for TJ and help him keep racing.

We’ve already had the privilege of speaking with a number of people and companies who have generously agreed to support TJ, and we are incredibly grateful for their contributions. However, we still need your help. Racing comes with its own set of costs—damage repair, spare parts, and all the other expenses that add up over time. Any additional funds we can raise will go directly toward these costs, ensuring TJ can continue to pursue his passion for racing without interruption.
