TJ Cartwright is my brother-in-law, a devoted father of four and the heart behind On Target, a nonprofit dedicated to helping people with disabilities experience the outdoors. TJ has always been the first to lend a hand, dedicating his time and energy to making sure others can enjoy the world around them, no matter their challenges.

Over 10 years ago, TJ’s life changed dramatically when he was shot in a hunting accident and lost his sight. Despite this unimaginable setback, TJ’s spirit remains strong. He continues to inspire everyone around him with his determination to keep helping others, even as he faces ongoing obstacles in his own life.

I want to surprise TJ with a smart cane that will help him regain some independence. This incredible device can identify objects both on the ground and at head level, provide turn-by-turn directions, and offer many features that will help TJ safely navigate the outdoors he loves so much. Your support will not only help TJ in his daily life, but also empower him to keep making a difference for others through his nonprofit work.
