This is not something that I would normally do, but considering the circumstances, I am turning to my friends and family.

2025 has not been kind to my brother TJ. In February, he got the flu which turned into double pneumonia. He was hospitalized for two weeks and sent home on bed rest. Due to the severity of the illness and the fact that he works in a hospital, he was not allowed to return to work until April. He lost pay because his time off exceeded his sick and personal days. He was given short term disability pay, but that was hardly anything.

In August, he went back to the hospital where he was diagnosed with kidney failure. He began dialysis and was ordered to stay home for two weeks. Again, not being paid for this time.

Because his dialysis is first thing in the morning, his work schedule had to be moved to the later shift (3 - 11 pm). He drives an hour to get to work which means on certain days, he gets home at 12 am, tries to go to sleep, and then has to be up by 6 am. Dialysis alone is exhausting. Add this schedule to it and it's nearly impossible.

TJ can't afford to not work. He is trying to get on disability, but that is a long process. Rob and I are helping him as much as possible, but with Rob being out of work, we are limited in what we can do.

On behalf of TJ, I am asking if you are able to financially help him. He needs help with the rent and bills. As of right now, his car is not very reliable and needs some work done to help him get back and forth to work. Any help you can provide is beyond appreciated.
