My update today comes with some sadness, but we are trying to keep our heads high because we know TJ is a fighter. Unfortunately, we didn't get to come home as planned. Tj has been having fevers of unknown origin. He's scheduled for a PET scan Monday, which should tell us if the chemo treatments have been working. We are continuing to pray that they are. If the chemo is working we will continue the treatment, and if not we will have to look for different treatment options for him. It was an emotional day today, TJ had some awesome hair, and today we had to shave it. Although he rocks this look too, and we know that it's just hair and will grow back, it's still just hard to watch someone so young that we all love and would trade places with in an instant if we could go through something so rough. Please continue praying for him. Donate if you can, share this if you can't. We love you all and will update you as we know more.

TJ update.. aIr has been one heck of a month and a bit.
We know what we are facing . TJ is a warrior. He has had a chest tube or multiple chest tubes for the better part of a month. With the diagnosis of his cancer a med port placement and his 1st round of Chemo in. He has had some improvement. The fluid around his heart has slowed down. So with pericardial window that was placed the chest tubes have been removed. He is eating again and fighting the pain from them opening his chest. We are hopeful that Tj will get to come home for a few weeks before his next round of chemo.
On the home front Tj has a great many of people working to take care of his family. He sends a shout out and thank you to everyone.
As our families work to help take care of them we want to say thank you to any and all who have reached out and supported us. From food donations to shirts bracelets and monetary donations we all would like to thank you for making hard days just a little bit easier. With much love the Messinger /LaBranche family.

TJ update.
Continued prayers for our dearest friends.

TJ update. FROM Jackie Boisvert-Messinger
No one ever wants to hear that they have cancer unfortunately that is his diagnosis “Clear cell Sarcoma of the connective tissue “.
We now have pathology. The doctors are making a treatment plan. Radiation and chemo both. Then hopefully surgery to remove the cancer. We have have a hard fight ahead of us . As a family we all will be working together to help TJ fight this disease. When this page was started we had no clue what we were facing. We want to thank everyone who has reached out with kind words prayers and donations. Every bit has helped. Thank you for your love and support.
TJ has had a couple of rough nights. The surgery was for a pericardial window which would allow the extra fluid around his heart to drain into his abdomen. That was placed but due to the mass that needed to be removed the surgery became a lot more. The mass was attached to his diaphragm . So that was repaired. He had his chest open. He has two chest drains. We are waiting on pathology so we know what we are dealing with and how to proceed with the diseased tissue that could not be removed.
Many thanks to all who have reached out to us . Your donations and prays are truly appreciated . We will keep you updated . Our families thank you for all your thoughts and kindness that you have shown us.

Hi everyone! We are raising money for Robin La Branche’s 12 year old son, and Tim and Jackie Messinger’s beloved grandson T.J. Recently, he was in the hospital due to a “Pericardial Effusion”. Here is an overview of whats going on:

T.J. has fluid around the heart, caused by swelling and inflammation, which causes the heart to not beat properly. T.J. is still in the hospital, as the doctors are trying to get him better.

We thought we would get some donations to help Robin out while T.J. is in the hospital.

Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause which means so much to our good friends Tim and Jackie, and their daughter Robin
