Help TJ Mac care for Victoria Secrets care

Today was a tough one. I started out the day feeling good thinking it was going to be a great day, then Brett found my most cherished mama donkey down and unable to get up. She’s a few days from foaling. Being Easter, I called every vet I knew, no one was available. Trying to load 200lb pregnant donkey who can’t stand was tough. Good thing my husband is a beast. Got her to Texas A&M Emergency Hospital. She was so bad, they wheeled her in on a cart. I left there pretty hopeless. This donkey, Victoria’s Secret, is the first baby ever born here. I can remember my Mama running from the barn to the house to tell me Lil Doll had her baby. My mom was so excited. I named the baby after my Mama. Secret has been a matriarch of my herd for years. She’s had several foals, most of which have remained here. I’m on 3rd generation babies from her. I feel like she’s the last living piece that I have of my Mama. They called from the vet and said all of her blood work looks good. No liver or kidney issues. They aren’t really sure what is going on with her. They think it may be a calcium deficiency. They are running calcium in a slow drip. They said Secret is back on her feet but not out of the woods. My Mama died the week of Easter, I don’t think I can take losing Secret too!
