Tj has spent years working hard, often climbing in and out of attics for his job. Unfortunately, this demanding work has taken a toll on his knee, and now he needs a knee replacement surgery. Since August 2025, he has been unable to work due to the pain and mobility issues, and his doctors have said he will need at least 12 weeks to recover after surgery. The hospital is requiring payment before they will schedule the procedure, but without the surgery, he can't return to work. This has put Tj and Melissa in a very difficult position, as they simply don't have the funds after months without his income.

Melissa is doing her best to support their family on her salary alone, but they have fallen behind on their mortgage and car payments. The stress of trying to keep up with bills while also worrying about Tj's health has been overwhelming.
