Help TJ Fight Meningitis

Dear Friends and Family,
We are starting this GoFundMe in honor of everyone's best friend, T.J. Rafferty. For any of you who may not know yet, T.J. has been in the ICU since Thursday, July 18th with a severe case of meningitis. Meningitis is an inflammation of the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord that is usually caused by an infection. This infection has also spread to his bloodstream.
A recent MRI revealed that T.J. has suffered several small strokes as a result of this condition. While his vital signs continue to improve and he is showing good signs of responses to stimuli, we will likely not know the extent of his illness for several days. T.J.'s path to recovery is not yet known, but it is likely to be an uphill battle for him.
As you can imagine, this has been and will continue to be a difficult experience for TJ and all who know and love him. TJ is the most kindhearted, friendly, passionate, and loyal person you will ever meet, and we have faith that his strength and determination will persevere and pull him through this significant challenge in his life.
We set up this GoFundMe page as a way to communicate T.J.'s status and progress with all of you, as well as to ask for your assistance during this difficult time. As you can imagine, T.J. is likely to incur significant medical expenses as well as lost wages during this process, so any donations towards T.J.'s recovery are greatly appreciated. Any amount at all will help. If you are unable to donate, prayers and good vibes are also just as important! :)
