TJ Dildy has a detached retina and needs emergent surgery. We found out on Friday, and my car broke down on the side of the highway on Friday coming home from the surprising news. The surgery is $10,000, and we are both self-employed. TJ is unable to work; he could go blind if not taken care of immediately. We will need help with medical bills, food, utility, and rent on top of surgery. My car is unimportant at this time but another hurdle to overcome. We plan on using this money to survive the next couple of months during recovery. He will be completely bedridden for 1 week and unable to even bend or lift 10 lbs for a few weeks. Recovery takes up to a year, and he will not be able to play music during this time, which breaks our hearts.
