Life has thrown just about everything it can at TJ, but he keeps meeting it with heart.
After losing both of his parents and being left without family to lean on, TJ did what he’s always done — he kept moving forward, building a life through perseverance, creativity, and love. Recently, though, everything collapsed at once.
TJ had been living with friends, trying to rebuild. But when the company they worked for went bankrupt, everyone lost their jobs overnight. He started DoorDashing, working every hour he could to stay afloat and take care of his dog, Jimmy — his loyal best friend and family.
Even when exhausted and barely getting by, TJ never stopped giving. His job told him he deserved more pay — but wouldn’t follow through. And when things couldn’t get worse, they did:
After over three years of never missing a car payment, his vehicle was repossessed. The day it happened, he was out doing DoorDash to make the payment. He called the lender with cash in hand, but they refused to accept it. Moments later, his car was gone — and he and Jimmy were left stranded in a parking lot.
Now, TJ faces the possibility of homelessness in the middle of winter. He’s asking for help not because he wants a handout, but because he’s done everything he can on his own — and this time, he simply can’t do it alone.
TJ and Jimmy need to raise $3,000 by the end of the month to buy a reliable car. This isn’t about luxury — it’s about safety, survival, and hope. A car means warmth through winter nights, transportation to work, and the freedom to keep building instead of breaking.
If you know TJ, you know his heart. He feeds Jimmy before himself. He leads with love, even when life doesn’t return it right away. He’s not asking for pity — just a fighting chance to stay on his feet and keep walking the path he’s been carving with everything he’s got.

Where the funds will go:
• $2,400 — Reliable used vehicle purchase
• $300 — Registration, plates, and insurance setup
• $300 — Basic maintenance, oil change, and emergency gas fund
Every dollar helps. Every share matters.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing in a man and his dog who refuse to stop believing in love — no matter what life throws their way.
