We're posting this with heavy hearts, but hopeful spirits, to share Tito's journey and to seek your support in helping him regain his mobility.

Tito, our four-legged family member, is a vibrant and loving 3.5-year-old pup who recently faced a medical crisis. In August, he suddenly experienced severe pain due to Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). To save his life and provide him with a chance at a fulfilling future, we rushed Tito to UC Davis for emergency spinal surgery. The cost of the surgery alone amounted to $12,000 but we knew we had to do this for Tito.

While the surgery was successful in saving Tito's life, it left him paralyzed from the waist down. His resilience, however, knows no bounds. Tito's neurologist recommends "aggressive physical therapy" to help him regain mobility and independence. This includes intensive sessions aimed at rebuilding strength and functionality.

Tito's journey towards recovery doesn't end there. He also requires a custom wheelchair tailored to his unique needs, which carries a price tag of approximately $500. Additionally, each physical therapy session costs around $350, and other unexpected medical expenses have added up.

So far, we've committed over $15,000 to Tito's medical bills and his ongoing rehabilitation. We're deeply grateful for the care and support he has received thus far, but we need your help to continue his journey toward a fulfilling life.
