On Saturday April 26th, our 10 month old kitten, Tito, was taken into the vet for abdominal sensitivity. The vet determined that a stone was blocking his urethra and he needed a cathater inserted. He stayed the next two nights in a sterile kennel surrounded by unknown people and noises so the doctors could moniter him. Once the cathater was removed on the second day he was still blocked and not being able to pee. The doctor diagnosed him with a life threatening blockage and he stayed another night away from home. After the second insertion was removed, though, he was peeing and we were able to bring him home. Unfortunately, after 3 hours at home he continued to struggle peeing, despite the medication. He now needs a surgery that makes his urethra larger, making it possible for stones to pass. This surgery requires a specialist, making it incredibly expensive. We appreciate any support. Please help us bring our baby home!
