Titan came into our lives after our neighbors abandoned him, and he quickly became the sweetest, most affectionate cat we’ve ever known. Last weekend, Titan faced a life-threatening urinary blockage and we had to rush him to the emergency vet hospital. Because it was the weekend, the costs were higher and we had limited options. The bill was more than we could afford, so we used money meant for our mortgage and other bills, and financed the rest. Titan is recovering now, but there’s a chance he could block again, and we’re worried about both his health and our financial situation.
