My name is Tishni, and I am reaching out in one of the hardest seasons of my life. After a life changing event, I suddenly became the sole provider for my family. Overnight, everything shifted. Every day now feels like a balancing act between responsibility and survival, making sure the bills are paid, and the people who depend on me feel secure. I am doing everything I can, but right now struggling to keep up with our most basic expenses. The weight of being the only source of stability for my family is overwhelming, and the fear of falling behind keeps me up at night.

I came to the United States as an immigrant in the 90s. I know what it means to start from nothing, to work hard, and to push forward even when things feel impossible. In 2020, I achieved a lifelong dream and graduated from law school. It was a moment that felt like proof that every sacrifice was worth it. But the next step, taking and passing the bar exam, feels just out of reach while I am fighting every day just to keep us afloat.

My dream is to become a licensed attorney not only to provide long term stability for my family, but to give back to the community that gave me a chance. Right now, I need help to bridge this gap. The funds would go toward bar exam fees, bar prep courses, and critical bills so I can breathe long enough to study and move forward.
