My son, Tisaiah Frei, lost everything when a fire destroyed his apartment above Lucky'B restaurant on 1/25/26. As a brother of the IUPAT union, his friend and work brother, Eddie Cookson, suggested we start this GoFundMe page to help him recover. Tisaiah not only lost all of his belongings and his place to live, but also his custom work equipment that he relies on for his job.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping Tisaiah replace essential items like clothes, work equipment, kitchen supplies, furniture, and bedding. They will also help cover the security deposit and rent for a new place to live, so he can begin to rebuild after this devastating loss. Right now, Tisaiah and his neighbor and daughter, who also lost everything in the fire, are staying with my mom as they figure out their next steps.

It would mean everything to help get Tisaiah back on his feet. Not only did he get out safely, but he also made sure his neighbor and daughter were safe. We are so grateful for any support you can give during this difficult time. If you want to make donations in person, please contact The Fastener Stop at [phone redacted] and ask for Cari. Thank you for helping us show Tisaiah that he’s not alone as he starts over.
