Help Tippy Recover from Emergency Surgery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share what our sweet cat Tippy has recently been through — and why we need your help.

A few weeks ago, Tippy had to undergo emergency gastrointestinal surgery due to a life-threatening blockage caused by an obstruction. The situation was critical, and without immediate intervention, we would have lost her. Thankfully, she pulled through the surgery, but the unexpected medical bills have placed a significant financial strain on our family.

Tippy has been part of our lives since April 2020, when we adopted her and her bonded brother, Merle. They’ve been inseparable since birth, and the thought of Merle losing his sister was devastating.

Tippy is a special soul, not just because she’s incredibly loving and resilient, but because she was born with a neurological condition known as wobbly leg syndrome (cerebellar hypoplasia). This means her coordination isn’t perfect, and she walks with an adorable, unsteady gait. Despite her challenges, she’s always been full of life, curiosity, and affection.

In August of 2022, we welcomed another kitty into our home — Meow Meow Gabor — and together the three of them have formed a tight, loving trio. Our home is filled with their energy, comfort, and joy.

This emergency surgery came out of nowhere. Like many pet owners, we weren’t prepared for the high cost of a sudden, invasive medical procedure. But we knew we had to do whatever it took to save her life.

We’re asking for your help to cover the cost of Tippy’s emergency care and post-operative recovery. Every dollar helps — whether it’s $5 or $50 — and even if you can’t donate, sharing her story would mean the world to us.
