Tiny is my beloved dog, and she’s been a huge part of my life since I rescued her as a puppy. She was surrendered to a dog trainer by her previous owner, who said Tiny would bite her. When I brought Tiny home, she was only about six months old and a little unsure of the world, but she quickly showed her true colors—a big ol’ sweetheart who just needed a loving home. Over time, she’s become the heart of our family. She’s playful, loves fetch (which she’s gotten much better at!), enjoys walks, and her favorite things are car rides and sleeping under the blanket.
On Sunday, February 8th, 2026, Tiny got out of our backyard. I was frantic searching for her, following every lead I could find on Facebook. After days of worry, I finally found her on February 12th at a local shelter. My relief quickly turned to fear when I learned the shelter was planning to euthanize her the very next day. When I brought her home, I saw she had a large gash on her right shoulder, road rash in her armpits, and she was limping on her back left leg. It broke my heart to see her in pain after everything she’s already been through.
Tiny now needs urgent medical care—vet bills, surgery, and medications—to recover from her injuries. I want to give her the best chance at a full recovery and a happy, healthy life. If you’re able to help Tiny get the care she needs, we would be so grateful for your support. Thank you for reading her story and for any kindness you can share.
