Help Ting during Unemployment!

hi, all - in late november, i left an abusive workplace (working 80 hours/week for months, verbal abuse, racism, sexism, and ableism, specifically denial of accommodations for my intellectual disabilities). i have been applying for jobs and only able to work part-time in the meantime (it’s true what they say!! applying for jobs really IS a full-time job!!) as a result, and being a single-income household, i am struggling to meet my basic needs and pay my bills. as many of you know, i have been self-supporting since i was 19, with no relationship to immediate biological family besides my sister (who has a 19-month old toddler and a partner with cancer). all of this is to say i wouldn’t be taking to this platform unless i was truly financially struggling.

any money donated would help me pay my monthly bills so i can continue applying for jobs and remain working part-time to do so. i also do not have health insurance, so this money would most importantly allow me to get healthcare and my daily medications that keep me sane and able to navigate everyday life.
