Hi , my name is Tina Martel. I have a childhood friend who has Sjögren's Disease, which causes her body to not tolerate heat at all. She is currently living in a place that does not offer air conditioning. She has been ill throughout this heatwave and desperately needs an air conditioning unit. I want to stress... this is a HEALTH ISSUE... and she needs relief ASAP. I have known her all my life, and we are related through children our siblings and siblings-in-law shared together. She is wonderful, kind, and beautiful, and since she’s been diagnosed, her life has changed so dramatically. My outgoing, dancing, and mingling-on-the-weekends girlfriend has become a house hermit, only going out in the evenings after dark when it cools down. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me to help her live a more comfortable life and keep her out of the ER.
