Support Cliff Marshman's ALS Care

My name is Tina Villa, and my sister, her husband, and her children need your help. My brother-in-law, Cliff Marshman, was diagnosed last year with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a neuromuscular disorder.

After a months-long hospitalization because of Cliff's rapidly decreasing physical abilities and his severely compromised breathing due to the inability of his lungs to expel carbon dioxide, he made the difficult decision to have a tracheotomy. This decision was the best first step to getting my brother-in-law home to his wife and two children (ages 10 and 14).

Now that my brother-in-law has made it home, he requires 24-hour care. Cliff is completely paralyzed except for the use of his eyes on good days. Twenty-four-hour care has been very difficult for my sister to manage on her own. She has hired home healthcare nurses for about 40 hours per week, which gives her the opportunity to work, run errands, and take care of her children, but this care is extremely expensive.
