Early last year, my best friend, Tina Lakitsky, was diagnosed with breast cancer. On Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, she is going into surgery for a double mastectomy, which, if you don't know, is the removal of both breasts. She will be out of work while she heals. Along with not working comes the stress of bills stacking up and other financial burdens.

I first met Tina about 3 years ago when she joined our work team. Anyone that knows this lady knows that she is such a beautiful person, inside and out. She can walk into a room and light it up. She would do anything for anyone without hesitation. Her laugh and smile are contagious, and her kindness is unforgettable. I've never met someone that works so hard and never complains about it. She truly is a blessing to know, and anyone that knows her would agree how special she is.

As a woman and a mother, I can't even think about what Tina is going through without tearing up. One thing that I envy about her is her faith and how she never lost it during this. So, please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Let her know she is not alone.
