Help Tina Save Her Soul Dog, Febe
If you know Tina, you know her heart. She’s the founder of a local nonprofit dog rescue—someone who has dedicated her life to saving homeless, abused, and neglected animals. She’s the first to show up for animals in need, the last to ask for anything in return. Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
Tina’s beloved soul dog, Febe, has recently been diagnosed with malignant melanoma in her mouth. Just weeks ago, Febe was a healthy, happy 10-year-old Boxer. That all changed when Tina herself discovered a tumor in her mouth. Since then, their world has been turned upside down.
Febe has already undergone one surgery and bravely received her first melanoma vaccine. With the oral surgeon’s help, there’s real hope—we believe more of the tumor can be removed in her upcoming surgery scheduled for Thursday. While the cancer hasn’t spread, Febe is currently struggling with pain from the tumor site, which is making it hard for her to eat, rest, and enjoy life as she always has.
But this fight isn’t just for Tina—it’s also for Tina’s two sons, Beau and Brody.
Febe isn’t just their dog—she’s been their emotional anchor. When Tina moved in with her grandmother to provide hospice care during her cancer battle, the boys stayed home—and Febe stayed by their side. She became Beau’s support, offering comfort and stability during a heartbreaking time no child should have to face. That bond will never be replaced.
This family has already endured too much loss. In just over a year, they’ve said goodbye to PJ, the rescue’s beloved namesake and to Otter, Brody’s cherished dog. The thought of losing a third dog in such a short amount of time is unbearable for Tina, her boys, and the entire rescue community.
The treatment plan includes:
• Oral surgery to relieve her pain and remove more of the tumor
• Four additional melanoma vaccines
• Ongoing follow-up care and pain management
Tina has already paid over $2,000 out of pocket. As a mom and rescue founder, she gives everything she has—financially and emotionally—to others. She would never ask for help for herself. So we’re asking for her.
Let’s show Tina and her family the same unconditional love they’ve shown to so many. Let’s help Febe fight this cancer and give her the chance at more snuggles, more car rides, and more time with her boys.
If you can donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you can’t, please share. Every dollar is extremely appreciated.
