Hi, my name is Tina & on 8/9/25, Southeastern Wisconsin was hit with historic flooding. The home my roommates Donna, Jim & I rent had over 12" of a sewer backup in our basement. The loss was devastating. We lost our washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer, convection oven & other household items. Renters insurance doesn't cover flooding or sewer backups. The first person hired by our landlord was not qualified or certified in sewage mitigation & he walked off the job after 17.5 hours. After 3 weeks & multiple visits to Urgent Care due to the air quality in our house a qualified mitigation company was hired. They completed the mitigation in 1 day with 2 more days of drying time. We have to replace the shelving we had in the basement because it was damaged by the sewage. We still need to replace the washer, dryer, refrigerator, freezer & stove, along with other essential items.

We're not normally the type of people that ask for help, we're the people helping others. Unfortunately this has hit us hard financially & we need help to replace the appliances. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you & God Bless You.
