Hi everyone,
I never imagined I’d be in this position, but life took an unexpected turn. On the day I was moving into my new home, I fell off the back of a U-Haul truck and suffered severe fractures to my left leg, including my tibia and fibula, with major damage to my tibial plateau.
I spent 10 days in the hospital and am now in a rehab facility, waiting for surgery. I’m currently unable to put any weight on my leg, and after surgery, recovery is expected to take at least 2–3 months before I can even begin walking again.
Because of this, I’m unable to work right now, and everything has changed overnight. My son is temporarily staying with his dad while I focus on healing, which has been one of the hardest parts of all of this.
I’m hoping to raise $4,000 to help cover the basic necessities during this time, rent, utilities, groceries, and medical related expenses just to stay afloat while I recover and work toward getting back on my feet.
If you’re able to help in any way, whether it’s donating or simply sharing this post, it would truly mean so much to me. I’ve included some photos to show what’s been going on and what I’m facing right now.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers. I appreciate it more than I can put into words.
With gratitude,
Tina
