My name is Tina, and I never thought I’d be writing this. For years, I stayed in a relationship that was abusive and destructive, but for the sake of my daughters, I finally found the courage to leave. In the process, we lost nearly everything, our home, our security, and the life we had built piece by piece.

When we left, we had to walk away from so much: the crops I had planted, the chickens I had raised, and all of our furniture, including my daughters’ beds. We left with only what we could carry, choosing freedom and safety over possessions.

Right now, I don’t even have housing of my own. I am staying with a relative for the time being, but it is only temporary and not close to where I need to be for my children. One of my daughters is in school across the country, and the distance makes it even more difficult to manage life as a family.

On top of all that, not having a vehicle adds to the daily struggle. I homeschool my younger daughters and run a small home business, but it is slow right now during the off-season. Without reliable transportation, even simple things like getting groceries, keeping appointments, or preparing for a new start are overwhelming.

I have always been someone to share other people’s campaigns and support them however I could, but I have never started one for myself. It is humbling to be here now, but I know God sometimes provides through the kindness of others, and I am learning to let Him.

A dependable car would mean stability, safety, and the chance to move forward. It is more than transportation, it is the foundation we need to rebuild our lives, reconnect as a family, and create a safe and steady future.
