Tina's Mental Health Fund

Hi, I'm Oliver and I am creating this Gofundme on behalf of Christina.
Christina (they/them) is a Black queer Toronto-based artist and creative. Currently completing a photography degree, they have been an active and hard-working contributor towards fostering safe and collaborative spaces for artists and musicians in the city for a number of years.
Due to COVID-19, Christina has been working part time and finishing their program from home. Beginning last year with serious health diagnoses and an immuno-compromising health condition, their mental and physical health have been greatly impacted by the circumstances. They face intense anxiety, which has in turn exacerbated their physical symptoms and made focusing on their creative practice, school and social life extremely difficult.
The lack of employment opportunities has further made them unable to afford appropriate mental health support and put a strain on their living expenses and creatives supplies.
The therapy services they are currently seeking cost $130 a session, with their insurance only covering $500 for the year. They have recently found a queer therapist and are hoping to continue with them longterm, as it has taken years to find a psychotherapist they are comfortable with.
Tina would deeply appreciate any help with funding their therapy at this time.
If you wish to purchase any of their art you can find them on social media at @visualsbytina
