Hello my name is Jeff Hopkins and I’m raising funds for my wife Tina Hopkins, who has Colon Cancer.

Tina has not been feeling well for months now, spending time in and out of the hospital undergoing numerous tests and attempts to get her better.  After her most recent round of testing we finally received her cancer diagnosis on 5/10/18.

Tina has taken the news like only Tina can, head on and actually glad to finally know what is wrong! The hardest part of our journey so far as been Tina's time out of her classroom and away from our family.  Tina is a dedicated teacher, who is crazy enough to love teaching middle school, and a devoted mom to our 4 active children.  As Tina has said "at least now we know what we are fighting" but I also realize that our fight is just beginning.  For years, Tina is always the first person to reach out to anyone in need, whether its to her students, friends or family.  Today, its our turn to help her.

If you are able, we would greatly appreciate any financial support as Tina battles to School Cancer!  Estimating the costs of cancer care is extremely difficult. Costs vary greatly depending on where treatment is provided, the type of treatment, and the doctors or specialists involved.  While we are  fortunate to have medical insurance, depending on what the insurance covers, cancer care can still cost thousands of dollars. We are starting the goal at $10,000 and will update that goal as we learn more about Tina's treatment plan and what all she needs.
