Many of you know Tina as an energetic, fun-loving, dog and soccer enthusiast with an infectious laugh! Tina suffered a freak accident and is in the ICU at Barnes. She took a very serious fall down the basement steps, hitting her head, resulting in her being found unconscious and taken by ambulance to the hospital. Upon arrival, she was intubated, went in for testing, and it was discovered she had multiple skull fractures and brain bleeds. She had to be taken into surgery and a portion of her skull removed to relieve the swelling. The surgery was a success, but she still remains on a ventilator with a long road ahead. With uncertainty still looming, we are looking to start a fund for her to help with mounting medical costs and no idea when she will be able to work again.
