Hello, my name is Anna and I am blessed to be the daughter of Tina Collins, who is in urgent need of life-saving medical treatment. As are many Anishinaabe people, my Nimaamaa (Mother), is very private about her personal matters, so to honor that, I will say here that her medical matter is life-threatening.

As so many people experience, our Mom is unable to afford insurance yet makes *just* enough to not qualify for MediCal. She is in urgent need of medical treatment and so we are appealing to anyone reading this to please give if you can to help.

A little about our beloved Nimaama. First, she is a heroine to all creatures great and small. From mice, to humans, to horses, our Mom has saved them all. Her great heart expands in all directions.  In our family, she holds our ancestral medicine and walks a prayerful life, devoting herself to loving and caring for others. She so very rarely asks for anything yet gives everything. I pray that through the love and mutual aid of our close and wider community, she can get the care that she needs.
