As many of you know, Mama has been dealing with Cancer since 2016.
Since her original diagnosis of breast cancer in 2016, Tina and Frank have accrued thousands of dollars in medical debt. Tina had fought valiantly through several rounds of chemo, (both intravenously and orally) as well as radiation therapy, steroids, and several surgeries. She has also endured many hospital stays due to her vulnerable immune system.
While the Poes have tried to stay above the rising tide of debt, the burden of the disease, which has continued to spread to her spine and lungs, has become too much. While Tina has made the difficult decision to deny further experimental treatment, we would like her to live out her days with the peace of mind that Frank and their children will be able to grieve without financial stress.
