Help Tina Battle Oral Cancer

In November 2019, Tina noticed a painless white spot on the bottom of her tongue.
February 2020 Tina had a laser surgery for a precancerous lesion on her tongue. She had no known risk factors for oral cancer. The biopsy performed was noted to be mild squamous cell dysplasia. (abnormal cells but NOT cancerous)
Tina's 6 month checkup was good with no concerns.
October 2020 came around and Tina developed a second (different) spot under her tongue but no visible lesion.
November 2020, there was now an open sore at that second site.
Biopsy for second site was set up for January of 2021. (There was some delays with the holidays that pushed things out a little longer.)
As Tina waited, the pain worsened (pain in the ears, jaw, and neck.) and an obvious lump had then developed under the sore. Tina had surgery where they removed part of her tongue, pathology report noted that this time it was squamous cell carcinoma, (now cancerous) with neuromuscular and lymph vascular involvement. The tumor that was removed was 3.2 cm. Tina is set up for another surgery in February, 2021. More of her tongue will be removed and they will also take lymph nodes on the right side of her neck. Tina recently saw Oncology here in Duluth, MN and they have decided she will have a PICC line placed along with radiation. The tumor that Tina has currently is T3 which means it is more advanced. (Stages progress from T1-T4).
Everything Tina has been through (shared information or not) she has always been known to fight for what she's got! This time we are asking for a little help in this long road battle.
Tina is a devoted mother to her son and is a hard working Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine within the Hayward and Spooner clinics.
With everything going on, Tina will be out of work and monthly bills are still coming in. If we as a community (family, friends, etc.), could take the burden of the financial stress to come as well as medical bills that have already increased, I know she as well as many others around her would be so thankful and appreciative of all of you! As we all know Tina is not one to ask for help as she is a very independent woman!
