Help Tina & Armand with medical expenses

Hello, for those of you who may not know me, I am Gina, Tinamaria’s first cousin. As much as I do not like asking for any kind of help from anyone, for anything, I wish I could help my cousin out myself with out asking for any of your help, but unfortunately I can’t . My cousin and her husband, Armand, have had a rough past year and have encountered many medical bills.

 

Armand and Tinamarie have endured a year of major medical issues. It started with Tinamarie in September of 2020 when she was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma (kidney cancer). Thank god she only needed surgery to remove a portion of her right kidney and did not need any treatment. She had to go through all testing and surgery all by herself due to covid. Armand literally had to drop her off at the door of the hospital and he did not see her again until she was discharged and he had ton pick her up at the door. Tinamarie was out of work and did not have a job to go back to, also due to covid. In March of 2021 she had her first 3 month scan and blood work, Thankfully she received a good report, cancer free.

 

Armand and Tinamarie were so happy with the great news, but then just a couple weeks later Armand received a diagnosis of Head and Neck Cancer (Tonsil Cancer). Unfortunately Armand did not have the same easy road ahead as Tinamarie did. Armand’s cancer was inoperable and was looking at a seven week course of treatment. Armand sought treatment at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia for 7 weeks, driving almost two hours each way, Monday through Friday. His treatment included 35 Radiation Treatments and 2 Large Doses of Chemo. Armand was able to tough it out with working at least part time until the middle of August, when he became so sick that he spent 2 weeks in the hospital and had to have a feeding tube placed. Armand has completed his treatments as of August 9th but still has a feeding tube and unable to eat or drink by mouth, and will need to have tube feeding for another 6 weeks at least.

 

The bills are mounting between medical, car rental, tolls, gas, medication and home supplies for the feeding tube they are becoming financially debilitating. Tinamarie has been Armand’s sole caregiver and has just returned to work part time last week. Any amount donated will help to pay for all Armand and Tinamarie’s medical bills in these trying times. It would also be a huge help to share the GoFundMe with friends or on social media.
