My name is Tina, and I am starting this fundraiser for myself and my daughter as we try to get through an incredibly difficult season. I am living with epilepsy, sarcoidosis, lupus, and fibromyalgia, and my daughter has health issues of her own. Right now, I am waiting to find out if I will be approved for disability, or if I can find a work-from-home job that will allow me to care for both of us. After my son was evicted from the home where we had been staying, my daughter and I had to move into a motel. Since then, we have been doing everything we can to hold on, but most of the time we are forced to choose between paying for shelter and buying food.
The motel manager has been kind enough to work with me and offer a reduced rate of $70 a day or $375 a week, but even with that help, the need is ongoing and very hard to keep up with. Donations will help us keep a roof over our heads, put food on the table, pay for toiletries and other basic necessities, and wash our clothes at the local laundromat. Because these expenses continue week after week, recurring donations would give us steady support while I wait for answers and work toward stability. If monthly giving is not possible, one-time donations would also mean so much to us. Any amount of support, along with your kindness and encouragement, will help my daughter and me make it through this time. Thank you for caring about us and for helping us keep going.
