Help Tin get to the Sydney Marathon!!
Donazione protetta
Tin ran his first marathon in 2011 at the age of 44 to honor his beloved sister Hai, who passed away suddenly from a brain aneurysm at age 39. At each race, he posts a picture of a Red Sox cap #9 because she was a HUGE Red Sox fan and her birth order was #9. He wears the Sox cap at every race.
Now, he continues to run to honor her memory, but also in support of his mother, who has been living with dementia. Since his first marathon, he has continued to run in 23 marathons. These include ones in Boston, New York, Burlington, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago, and Lowell, MA.
He recently entered a lottery to run a marathon in Sydney, Australia (https://www.tcssydneymarathon.com/marathon) on August 31 - and surprise surprise he got in!
This fundraiser is to help him with the expenses of traveling across the world to run. He will also be sharing a portion of the donations and any excess donations with the Alzheimer's Association (https://www.alz.org), in honor of his mother.
Please help support Tin's journey.
