Help Tim’s next chapter in life

Hello to anyone seeing this!

My name is Tim or Timmy as I’m known by friends and family. Recently we found out that our home is being unexpectedly foreclosed on. This is my childhood home that I shared with my grandparents and mother. When I was 18 I made the decision to stay home and care for my elderly grandparents who have many health issues and have undergone several surgeries over the years. Sadly, my grandmother passed away in 2019 and it’s been my grandfather and I ever since. In March of this year my grandpa fell and broke his hip and has been in either the hospital or a rehabilitation facility since that time. During the time he’s been in the hospital, we have been informed that he is extremely behind on the house payments. The mortgage company will not work with us to keep the house and we’ve been informed that we need to be out of the house by July 6th of this year, so one month from the time I’m writing this.

My uncle is moving my grandpa into an assisted living facility thankfully, but this situation has blindsided my whole family and left me unsure about my future living situation. I’m only asking for enough help to give me a cushion while I’m trying to find a place. This GoFundMe is to enable me to pay application fees, initial renting fees, and/or storage unit fees if I have to couch surf for a little bit while I save money.

I’m not one to ask for help or a handout, but this unexpected situation has really hit me hard and I have to set my pride aside and admit that everyone needs help sometimes, and this is my time to admit that I need that help. I work full-time and will be able to afford rent and other living expenses once i can find a place to call home. Any bit would mean the world to me during this difficult and stressful time in my life.
