Help Tim's Family During His Health Crisis

Donation protected
Our story is a long one but I’m going to just tell you the main parts so thank you in advance for reading some of our journey. On March 20th my dad Tim started having a headache and feeling like maybe he was getting sick so he did what anyone would do and took some medicine and went on about his day but unfortunately it was more than what we ever would have imagined. His headaches got to the point of days he couldn’t even get out of bed. He would miss work or just sit in his chair with his eyes closed. It got to the point we would talk to him and he would just look at us with a blank expression like he wasn’t there. After some time he finally agreed to go to the hospital. They did a cat scan and found 2 spots on his brain that they called “old blood” and that it was not an active bleed. They kept him in the hospital for 4 days and not much happened. They referred him to physical therapy because they said that his headaches was due to a nerve not the “old blood”. Well a couple weeks later the pain was still was so excruciating that he was not doing anything but laying in his chair with ice packs on his face and neck. He was losing his balance and at times it was as though he wasn’t him, like he was gone but his body was here. On May 13th he went and seen his primary doctor and when the doctor laid his eyes on my dad he knew immediately that something was really wrong so he sent my dad back to the hospital with a paper to be admitted. Of course he was immediately took back and a cat scan was done and the found that the “old blood” which again we was told was non active actually had grown 1 millimeter each. He was then put into a room and that started a journey me and my family never expected. The 16th of May my dad went in for surgery to get the pressure and blood drained from his brain. The surgery went great from what we was told by doctors. The 17th my dad got the drain tubes removed. Now this is when our journey gets even more scary for my family, as of the 17th of May my dad has not got any better. My dad went from talking and comprehending to not speaking correctly and as though he was a full blown dementia patient. So the doctors did a cat scan and found that he now had a air pocket where the fluid had been drained out. So he was immediately sent to the ICU. While in the ICU his blood pressure and heart rate was falling way down so he was then put on the ventilator. 18 hours later he was taken off the ventilator but still his heart rate and blood pressure was all over the place. The doctors then decided it was not a neuro problem it was cardio so they put in a temporary pacemaker which seemed to help the heart rate and blood pressure. Yesterday he got the permanent pacemaker. But even with the pacemaker in and his heart rate and blood pressure stable he is still very out of it, he can’t form sentences, or he just makes noises, has no body strength and most of the time don’t even remember what year we are in. So long story short we have been told by neuro that it’s his heart and we been told by cardio it’s his brain. My dad is still in the ICU with a feeding tube, pacemaker, scars on his head and no answers. My dad has been out of work for 16 days which means no paycheck. My mom, husband and myself are doing all we can to make sure my dads bills are paid and also juggling our own bills and lives. We know times are tough for everyone but if not financially then a prayer works for us as well. Our goal is to cover my dads bills for the next 5 months so we can focus on his health and getting him home. Thank you in advance for anything you can do. I just want my dad back healthy and home. Thanks for taking the time to read just a fraction of our journey.
