On May 16th our family was forever changed with one word - Cancer.

Our Godson and nephew, Timothy-Jack, “TJ”, was diagnosed with Germinoma… brain cancer - words that I never thought I’d share and words that give me goosebumps every time I say or write them.

It was just suppose to be a precautionary MRI on May 9th to identify a baseline, my sister-in-law advocated for the MRI initially but never did we think he would end up being admitted to the hospital with a cancer diagnosis.

To say it has been a challenging time for our family would be an understatement, but we are not easily shaken or discouraged and know that TJ is a fighter! He will undergo chemotherapy and radiation over the next 16 weeks and in superhero fashion will kick cancers butt.

Our brother, sister-in-law and nephew are pillars in their community and an inspiration to so many! Our mission with this fundraiser is to ensure they can stay focused on fighting the battle ahead of them. Financial assistance will help cover out-of-pocket medical costs, travel to and from treatment, and other necessary expenses which will help them focus on what is most important; providing their little boy with love and comfort.
