Help Timothy Reach Texas for Life-Saving Critical Surgery

Blessings, My Name is Timothy i am a husband and father of two beautiful children. I am a kind person always willing to help others, I never ask for help myself I am a hard working provider for my family. It is hard even writing the words for this. However I have to put my pride aside and reach out ask for help.

I will be having a surgery on my aorta I have a aneurysm in my descending aorta. I have to fly to Texas because that is where the best surgeon is located.

I am making a gofundme seeking help for traveling for my medical needs.

During the surgery the surgens will have to bypass all of my organs in order to repair my aneurysm.

3 years ago I had a 17 hour open heart surgery to repair my Ascending aeorta, subclavian artory, and had to get a mechanical valve placed in my heart. Surgery was a success however unfortunately I will need to have a additional surgery to repair my Descending aeorta this September 18,2024

Surgery will take place in texas. My vascular

surgeon here said that the surgeon who specializes in the specific surgery I need done is in texas. My surgeon here in Hawaii where I live says he is not confident in performing the surgery himself as they do not do them often. I was referred to the best surgeon in texas who specifically specializes in the surgery I need.

I have to fly before the surgery and stay in a hotel until the surgery date four days prior in order to make sure all my vitals are cleared. And must fly back first class after the surgery to be able to stretch out and be as comfterble as possible (as ordered by my surgeon however insurance does not pay for transportation costs or accomadations) I do live in Hawaii, Texas is every far away

The cost of airplane tickets to fly out to texas are very expensive from what ive seen so far round trip tickets to fly to texas and flying back first class are going for about $4000 currently. I am stressing out over the costs which also is not good for my heart.

I will be off of work for minimum 6 months recovering or more. Unfortunately I will not be receiving my full work paycheck during this time to be able to provide for my family and pay our bills as usual.

From what what my surgeon discussed with me it will be a very painful recovery I will have a two foot incision from my chest over my shoulder to my back. My left lung will be deflated during surgery in order to repair my descending aorta.

During my last surgery the recovery was very difficult i had to have a medical bed to be able to sleep upright. I was in alot of pain...the surgeon told me the recovery for this specific surgery for my descending aorta will be much more painful for recovery.

I do have a precious family to take care of my wife and two young children ages 6 and 4 a little boy and girl Noah and Penelope. My family is everything to me I want to be healthy for them I want to live for them be present, my children need me my wife needs me and I need them.

I would love my wife to be able to fly with me i need her support. Living so far away from texas I need my wife with me during this difficult time.

My children cannot be at the hospital in texas

During my surgery. We would have to fly with them before hand to California where they will be taken care of by thier grandparents.

My surgery is coming up very fast with alot of financial burdens ahead.

My faith in God is very strong and important to me. My family and my faith is what gave me peace and strength during my last surgery. It gave me a peace of mind and took my fear away. My surgery coming up has a lot of possible complications such as becoming paralyzed from the waist down. However I will not let fear win I will not loose faith i know i will have a redemption story to share to others.
