Brain Tumor and Severe diabetes
Donation protected
My name is Barbara. I am making a plea for my baby brother Timmy. He is 58 years old. He has been very ill for several months. He has been unable to work due to severe diabetes. He can barely get around, and needs assistance. He uses a walker, and has been struggling with his eyesight. Debilitating headaches, and loss of vision has prevented him from Uber driving, which was his only source of income. He has worked professionally in the past as a cosmetologist, and also as a chef, but is unable to do either due to his health. Due to severe diabetes, he has nerve damage, (neuropathy) in his feet, and other parts of his body. This has caused his ability to walk to be almost none. Neuropathy causes a person not to be able to feel sensation, decrease in sensation, but can also cause severe pain. Imagine trying to take a step, when you can't feel your feet. He can only take a couple of steps with his walker. This week, doctors delivered more devastating news. Originally, they thought his sight loss was due to diabetes. As it turns out, he has a tumor on his brain. He is scheduled for surgery January 7th. He is currently trying to get disability,
but it's a time consuming process. Meanwhile, he is homeless, and is living in a motel until assistance comes through. Please help me to help my brother as he goes through health challenges. Any amount is appreciated. All of the funds will be used to assist him during his anticipated longterm disability and/or until he is able to get benefits. God bless your heart for giving. I thank you.
