Timber is a beautiful husky who was adopted through a rescue and quickly became a beloved member of the family. Not long after coming home, Timber needed surgery to repair his meniscus and began developing painful sores all over his body. At first, these sores were thought to be from bed rest after surgery, then possibly a zinc deficiency, and later a food allergy. Timber’s mom has been on a mission to get him the care he deserves, determined to help him become the happy, healthy pup he was meant to be.

Unfortunately, the rescue has refused to help unless Timber is returned to their care, even though they released him with medical issues that weren’t obvious at first. Timber has endured countless tests, blood work, skin samples, surgeries, IV medications, and expensive food regimens. His mom finally got him on the road to recovery, but then Timber ingested a sock, which required another surgery. After this, he was placed on a special diet to rest his gut, but his skin developed new lesions that became infected. Through it all, his mom has maxed out her Care Credit and multiple credit cards, doing everything possible to get Timber the care he desperately needs.
