Help Timber Heal from Vicious Attack

Howdy y'all!

On the evening of 7/18/25, Sam Coldiron's sweet dog, Timber, was injured in an unprovoked and vicious attack by a white Akita in the St John/Highland neighborhood as they were out for a walk. The owner of the Akita took his dog, rapidly fled the scene on foot, and has not been able to be located. We are working on finding and identifying the owner so Sam can pursue criminal and civil recourse.

Sadly, Timber sustained deep puncture wounds to his neck and ear and is looking at several weeks of recovery, medication, and special care. We are grateful he wasn't more seriously injured, but I'm sure y'all know medical care is painfully expensive regardless of species. If you can spare any amount of money to help defray the cost of bringing Timber back to full health it would be deeply and emphatically appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
