I brought Timber home when he was just a tiny kitten, at a time when my own world felt very dark. Timber saved my life. During a period where I struggled to find a reason to keep going, he gave me one. He needed me, and in return, he gave me a constant, purring comfort that I couldn't find anywhere else. For three years, he has been my shadow and my heart.

Now, the roles have reversed, and Timber needs me to save him. He has been diagnosed with a severe dental condition that requires most, if not all, of his teeth to be extracted. If you’ve ever had a toothache, you know how consuming that pain is. Timber is only three years old; he should have a long life of treats and play ahead of him, but right now, he is living in constant, silent discomfort. The surgery is expensive, and despite my best efforts—working multiple jobs, selling belongings, and searching for side gigs—I am still coming up short, and time is not on our side.
