Help Timber get his Seizure Alert Service Dog
Donation protected
My name is Kristin Bell, and this fundraiser is for my son Timber Bell. Timber has recently been diagnosed with Epilepsy, along with a list of previous diagnoses. His seizures are unpredictable with no triggers. He has to be watched at all times until we figure out the medicine regimen to help control his seizures.
If you have known us long, you know Timber has been through it all in his short 7 years. A feeding tube at 5 months old. Diagnosed with failure to thrive, hypotonia, developmental delay, Apraxia of Speech, Global Apraxia, ADHD, ODD and Stimming. And now Epilepsy.
A service dog would be phenomenal for Timber in a lot of ways. This dog would alert us of seizures and help provide care for Timber while having a seizure. It would alert Timber when he was stimming or self harming (biting his hand), and eventually help break that habit. It would also provide deep pressure by laying on top of him when he is over stimulated or having a meltdown. The service dog would also be trained to track Timber if he was to wander off.
We are working with an amazing team as we start this journey. If you are able to donate, thank you so much. If you aren’t, that’s okay! Just pray for Timber. Pray that if it’s God’s will, Timber will get his service dog. Thank you!
