Timmy Worrell, born and raised in Isle of Wight County, has served his community there and in Gloucester County in law enforcement for 26 years. Throughout his tenure in law enforcement, he successfully fought through three separate cancer diagnoses. He continued to work all three times. He is currently battling stage 4B Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma, a Richter’s Transformation of Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma. The battle for a cure is long and grueling, but he is determined to fight as long as he can for his wife, four children, and three grandsons.

Timmy is currently commuting to VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA for chemotherapy treatment. On top of co-pays and up-front medical charges, Timmy needs accommodations at home to rest more comfortably, as well as an apartment within 30 minutes of the hospital for the duration of intense treatment at a later date.
