I've created this to help my dad until we can get assitance established.  In Sept 2019, he thought he was getting sick, just a cold. He progressively got worse, fast. Little to no energy, almost no appetite  and in ALOT of pain. Anyone who knows him, knows he goes 100 miles a minute,  Mr. Fix it, And ALWAYS has a project going. After  about 6 week, he couldnt even go from his bed, to the bathroom...he had enough, and went to the ER. They found a large mass in his lungs.  So immediately,  the referrals, and appointments started.  After a few more weeks, a PET test revealed several more lumps from his lung to his throat, and an abnormality on his heart. ( It is being reviewed by the 'Tumor board' and are awaiting answers) the PET confirmed it, 'tentatively stage 3' lung cancer (adenocarcinoma)   He had his final test,  a MRI, last week. Results Dec 17th. Where we find out IF its spread to his brain, how aggressive and a confirmation on what stage.  During this time, his teeth were the first to be effected by his lack of food/nutrition. Resulting in 6 teeth needing removal and started the process for dentures. ( as if CANCER wasnt enough)  Only to be told, he doesnt have short term disability until the following enrollment period at his job. But he hasnt worked, therefore his insurance isnt being paid.  We are doing everything we can to control his pain  ( He HATES  taking pills, and hates the way they make him feel, so it hasnt been going well) ,get him as healthy as possible ( he has dropped to 140 lbs @ 6'1) , and out of financial trouble . And it just isnt enough.  Anything helps, and is deeply appreciated ❤ I'll be updating as we go, and appreciate all the prayers and love! ❤❤
